The Mavic Mini may not be the latest drone from acclaimed drone makers DJI, but with a flight time of 25 minutes and a ton of the tech that’s stood the test of time, the Mini is still a worthy choice for those looking to get into drone flying.
It’s a fantastic drone for kids, too, with a non-complicated complicated remote to make sure easy flying. To fly, all you need to do is attach your phone.
This then connects to the remote to allow you to see what the drone sees. The Mini features everything you’d need connectivity wise – micro USB, USB-C and Lightning.

It’s worth noting that the camera isn’t 4K, rather it’s 2.7K – but that’s more than enough is pixel-perfect photography isn’t the primary reason to pick one up.
All videos and photos are then transferred to a micro SD card, but you’ll need to buy that separately. To ensure smooth landings, there are sensors at the bottom of the drone.
