After Namco Bandai originally announced that Beautiful Katamari was due to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3, an official fact sheet has emerged, suggesting the game will be an exclusive to Microsoft’s console.

The document, released by the publisher, includes no mention of the PlayStation 3, while listing the 360 as the game’s only format, apparently confirming that the King of All Cosmos is part of Namco’s ongoing focus on 360 exclusivity – enjoyed most recently by Ridge Racer 6, Eternal Sonata, and Ace Combat 6.

Meanwhile, after reporting that the eccentric Japanese game would be an Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive, Gamespot have retracted their statement, amending their hands-on preview and insisting “Gamespot regrets the error“.

Beautiful Katamari is currently expected to launch in the autumn.
