Following Techland’s moderately successful Wild West FPS Call of Juarez comes Warhound. The game is described as a non-linear FPS in which the player takes on the role on an elite mercenary who won’t hesitate to take on even seemingly impossible tasks.

Governments, businessmen and various organisations hire you for missions deemed too dangerous for normal soldiers and for that you earn a handsome reward. Players will have the freedom to choose missions, weapons, focus on skill development, manage finances and keep an eye on the competition in the mercenaries business. You’ll have to compete with other mercenaries and prove that you are the best of the best.

The game has been built using the 4th edition of the ChromeEngine and supports the latest DirectX10 and Pixel Shader 4.0 graphics, allowing the development team to create photorealistic graphics and life-like physics.

Warhound is currently scheduled for release in the backend of 2007 for PC and Xbox 360.
