Bayonetta 2 will launch in the UK on Friday, October 24, Nintendo has announced. The date means that Platinum’s “non-stop climax action” game will ship simultaneously across Europe and North America.
Alongside the date, Nintendo also lifted the lid on two limited editions: the Bayonetta 2 Special Edition which includes disc copies of Bayonetta 2 and the Wii U remake of the original Bayonetta; and the Bayonetta 2 First Print Edition (pictured above), featuring both games on disc, a Bayonetta 2 art book and an embossed leather-effect case.
The First Print Edition is exclusive to GAME in the UK and costs £59.99, with the Special Edition available for £44.99.
Alternatively you’re able to grab a solus edition of Bayonetta 2 from Amazon which states that it “also includes Bayonetta 1”. We’ve contacted Nintendo to ask if Amazon’s listing is accurate. [UPDATE: It isn’t. Amazon’s listing will not include a copy of the original Bayonetta, Nintendo has confirmed.]
Both games will also be available to purchase digitally via Nintendo eShop, with discounts available to those who choose to pick up both.
