Eidos today announced that April 30 will see the release of a Battlestations: Pacific playable demo on both Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows – LIVE Marketplace.

The demo includes one action-packed mission from the US campaign, Divine Winds of Leyte, throwing the player into the thick of the action with a Kamikaze attack on a US carrier fleet. Players will also have the chance to try out two multiplayer modes, Island Capture and Siege. Each mode will be available to play offline in Skirmish against an AI-controlled enemy.

Battlestations: Pacific is scheduled for release on May 15 in Europe on Xbox 360 and Games for Windows PC.
