DICE has announced that Firestorm, Battlefield V's dedicated battle royale offering, is getting a new Duo Mode.

The mode does exactly what it says on the tin, allowing you to team up with another player to tackle the battle royale experience. It joins the Solo and Squad modes that are currently available in Firestorm, and will be available until April 15.

'It's our first time putting Duo out into the wild having started work on the mode much later in Firestorms development. We love it, and we think it's a great addition to the game, but we recognize best that we're better hearing that from you, and we'd appreciate your support in helping to make it a strong addition to Firestorm, and Battlefield V,' said DICE.

Battlefield V was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in November 2018, with Firestorm arriving as part of an extensive post-launch slate last month. Battlefield Currency was rolled out for the World War II shooter just a week ago.
