Battlefield V developer DICE has released a new update for the game's battle royale mode, Firestorm.

Among the changes include a buff to the Armor Plate limit, which has been increased to five. Player health has been increased from 200 to 300 when in a downed state, and Firestorm now offers more XP-giving opportunities, as DICE felt it was a bit lacking in comparison to other modes.

Meanwhile, vehicle deaths have also been tweaked, so that the player's body is shoved outside of the vehicle, and it's now possible to be revived during Duo and Squads. It's not just Firestorm, though; this feature is now implemented across the entire Battlefield V experience.

There's a few other changes being made too, so be sure to give the full patch notes a look.

Battlefield V was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in November, although Firestorm didn't arrive until March. Still, the game is in much better shape now than it was at launch, with fresh content arriving throughout the year.
