What happens when you cross Battlefield with Need For Speed? You get something like this.

EA has revealed Battlefield Hardline’s new Hotwire mode, a multiplayer game type based around high speed police chases between two opposing teams.

Hotwire sees both sides of the law rushing to capture marked cars, before driving them around the map at high speed for as long as possible. Driving a marked car causes you to bleed the enemy team’s tickets, with the winner being the first team to bleed the other dry.

Driving fast and pulling off big jumps helps you gain extra score, too, with other players able to position themselves in the passenger seats to help destroy pursuing vehicles and take out the opposing team.
