Battlefield 4 may yet allow players to transfer their stats and progression from current to next-gen, the official Battlefield Twitter account has revealed.

Only yesterday it was reported that Battlefield 4 will not support cross-gen saves, but new Tweets indicate DICE is listening to its community.

“We’ve heard reports that players would like their stats and progression to transfer from current to next-gen in #BF4,” reads the Tweet. “We’re investigating.”

Further Tweets also reveal that Commander Mode will be available via a standalone app on iOS and Android tablet.

“There is a free stand-alone Commander Mode app that you can download to play the game on your tablet,” explains a Tweet.

“Commander Mode will only support iOS tablet devices including the iPad as well as Android tablets such as the Google Nexus.”

And finally, DICE has also confirmed that Premium will return in Battlefield 4.

“Yes. There will be a premium version of Battlefield 4,” reads a Tweet. “We’ll share more info on a future date.”

Gamescom could be a good date for the Premium reveal.
