A press release on DICE’s (the game’s developer) website has revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 2 Modern Combat will now ship worldwide in April.
“The launch of Digital Illusions’ game Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for Xbox 360 will be in April 2006,” reads the press release. After checking out EA’s UK press site it would seem that the game is now set for an April 14 release, across Europe at least. No reason for the delay has been given, but at least this gives gamers a bit of breathing space in March as it was looking like a pretty busy and expensive time to be a gamer.
