The next Battlefield 1 update will roll out on January 30 alongside the remainder of the Turning Tides DLC, developer DICE has announced. The update is expected to be one of the most significant patches for the World War I-based shooter to date.

DICE hasn’t yet confirmed the full list of patch notes, although you can expect a wealth of balance changes to be part of the package. Alongside this, the Swedish developer will also release Turning Tides’ second offering, North Sea, for Premium and Revolution Edition owners of Battlefield 1.

The Battlefield 1 January update will drop for PS4, PC, and Xbox One players following two hours of maintenance. Downtime is set to kick off at 8.00am, 10.00am, and 12.00pm GMT for PC, PS4, and Xbox One players on January 30, respectively.

DICE recently confirmed that the next slice of Battlefield 1 DLC, dubbed Apocalypse, will arrive in February complete with all-new air battles and maps that focus on the final stages of the Great War.

We were pretty blown away by Battlefield 1 when it launched in October 2016, labelling it one of the best-looking games available on current-generation machines.Â
