Battlefield 1’s Apocalypse expansion will roll out in February for PS4, PC, and Xbox One Premium Pass holders, publisher Electronic Arts announced overnight. The latest slice of DLC for the brutal shoot-’em-up features five new maps that focus on the latter stages of the Great War.

First up is Passchendaele, where soldiers find themselves knee deep in ‘blood and mud’ in what was once the peaceful Belgium countryside. Caporetto meanwhile sees you scrapping it out in mountain trenches near the Isonzo River, while the River Somme has players dodging a barrage of deadly artiliery strikes.

The last two maps are specifically catered to the new Air Assault mode, which sees you dogfighting in the skies above Europe in Razor’s Edge and London Calling. Elsewhere, new weapons include a meat cleaver, prybar and Chauchat-Ribeyrolles SMG, while you can also take to the skies in two new bombers; the Hansasa Brandenburg and Airco DH10.

Elsewhere, Apocalypse also adds a bunch of new assignments and unlocks, allowing you to scoop up new dog tags, service stars, codex entries and more. Expect additional info from EA soon enough as well as a concrete release date.
