Battalion Wars is set in the 21st century where a war between the Western Frontier and the Tundran territories has begun. The two territories reach a stalemate, until the ruler of a nearby country, Kaiser Vlad, turns his attention to conquering both countries. The Western Frontier and the Tundran are forced to form an alliance to fight off Kaiser Vlad’s army.

In Battalion Wars you have real-time control over all units including jeeps, tanks, helicopters and fighter jets and can switch back and forth between troops at the touch of a button. Troops can be armed with a range of weapons including rifles, flamethrowers and even rocket launchers.

The game’s main mode features twenty missions offering huge variation as you move from mission to mission, sometimes taking on a whole army whilst at other times controlling a single soldier as he escapes with vital information on the enemy. Battalion Wars is due for release on December 9th across Europe only on Nintendo GameCube.
