According to the online CV of British actor Mark Sloan, Batman: Arkham Asylum developer Rocksteady Studios was responsible for motion capture work for Hitman 5.
Earlier this year Eidos president Ian Livingstone said that Danish development studio IO Interactive was working on a new Hitman title along with Mini Ninjas and Kane & Lynch 2.
So how come Rocksteady is responsible for the motion capture work of Hitman 5? The most likely explanation is that of convenience, with the London studio in close vicinity to Sloan. Having a hand in the motion capture for the game does not make Rocksteady the new Hitman developer.
We’re trying to reach Eidos for clarification.
