An “interim patch update” for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled for release next month, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said in a community post on Friday.
“As an update, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Rocksteady and our partners are targeting an interim patch update for existing players to be released in August,” explained the post. “This update will address many of the issues we listed in our June 27 update. We will provide additional details as we finalize that interim patch over the coming weeks.”
As an “interim” update it doesn’t seem likely its release will coincide with the relaunch of the game, which was withdrawn from sale by the publisher shortly after launch.
“We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback. We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we possibly can,” concluded the post.”
A recent leaked email from an Australian retailer indicated it may be September at the earliest when the game went back on sale.
