Kevin Conroy, the actor who provides the voice of Batman in Arkham Asylum and the forthcoming Arkham City, has hinted that the new game will feature episodic DLC.

“The thing about Arkham City is that it’s going to be an ongoing game,” said Conroy, speaking to Siliconera.

“You’re going to be able to download future episodes of it, so it’s going to be going on for quite a while. I’ve been recording it for a while.”

When it came to DLC, Batman: Arkham Asylum only ever offered Challenge Maps. Do Conroy’s comments suggest that we might get something more substantial this time?

The Batman: Arkham City Collector’s Edition has recently been revealed, which includes a custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya. For more info on the game, check out our Batman: Arkham City preview from E3.

Batman: Arkham City will be released October 21 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
