Bastion, the quaint action RPG from Supergiant games, has reached the top of the Xbox Live Arcade chart after just one week on sale.

The chart, made available on Major Nelson’s blog, shows Bastion beating the likes of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, Deadliest Warrior: Legends and Ms. Splosion Man.

Whilst exact sales figures weren’t revealed, Bastion’s spot at the top reflects impressive scores from critics across the web. In my Bastion review, I said it’s “the perfect game to kick off Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade, capturing that certain something that Limbo and Braid had in previous years.”
