Bandai Namco has launched a new teaser site for something called ‘Little Nightmares’.

The site features a sliding block puzzle and asks users to “Unveil what has been lurking in the deepest darkest depths”. There appears to be three puzzles in total, two of which are due to roll out tomorrow and on Wednesday, ahead of a reveal trailer coming on Thursday.

The first puzzle is labelled ‘What’s beneath the hood?’, but diving into the site’s source code reveals that the next two are called ‘Love food and violence’ and ‘The innocent child’. It also confirms that a reveal trailer is the fourth item on the list.

Last month, Bandai Namco confirmed that it would be announcing a new IP at this month’s Gamescom. This could be it.

UPDATE: Bandai Namco has just sent the following image to press, teasing a “Secret Meeting” at next week’s Gamescom.

UPDATE 2: NeoGAF users have discovered info suggesting that the game could be a first-person horror game in development at Swedish studio RoboEd Games.

RoboEd’s twitter account hasn’t posted an update since March 2015, although it’s profile states that it is “currently working on ‘Little Nightmares’, a horror game where you play as a schizophrenic eight year old.”

A WordPress blog from the developer, meanwhile, offers an early look at what the game could be, including an early wireframe image of one of the game’s ‘Lurker’ enemies and its spooky house environment.
