Baldur’s Gate 3’s biggest monster lovers can now have a much naughtier experience with the Mind Flayer Emperor 

Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 is not exactly safe for work, but some fans have wanted the game’s saucy romance scenes to get a little bit harder than their risqué incarnations. 

Thanks to a new mod, the biggest monster lovers of the BG3 fanbase can now tickle their fancy with the slimy Mind Flayer Emperor in an even more NSFW way than usual. 

Baldur’s Gate 3’s Emperor gets some loving 

If you thought that the current romance scene with the Mind Flayer Emperor in Baldur’s Gate 3 was too tame, modder Almasy87 has created the “Astral Plane Romance Overhaul” aka “Squid’s Game”. 

Available right here on Nexus Mods, this mod is “an overhaul of the romance scene with the Emperor and Dream Guardian in Act 3”. 

The new mod has been described as “very NSFW”, giving players access to some brand-new audio, text and cutscene animation that would give the game an Adult’s Only rating for sure. Just to prove it, the modder did upload a video of the new scene to YouTube–it was almost immediately removed. 

As for what the scene involves. Well, Google would penalise us for telling you. Let’s just say, some tentacles are in play, and your fanfiction comes true.

Unfortunately, the mod currently only works for Female/Male Body 1 Tav/Durge characters at the time of writing, and only Dream Guardian Male 1 works properly. While players can use the mod with their freaky characters, it will result in some broken animations. However, the modder is working to make the mod work with everyone’s characters.

Not just for Monster Lovers 

The modder behind the new Mind Flayer Emperor scene hasn’t only created scenes for the slimy little illithid. Other mods by the creator also overhaul romance scenes with Astarion, giving players more sauce for their playthrough.
