Avatars more realistic for Kinect

Speaking to OXM, Rare’s senior programmer Nick Burton has said that Kinect has brought about version 2 of Xbox 360 Avatars.

According to Burton, the new avatars will be more realistic because the old cartoon-like proportions caused hand-eye coordination problems with players.

We’ve already sampled a number of Kinect titles at gamescom this week, including Kinect Sports and Dance Central.
