LG Electronics has announced that ATI will provide the GPU for its forthcoming SV360 gaming mobile phone. ATI’s Imageon 2300 GPU will give the mobile abilities that have previously never been possible on a mobile.

With a high resolution (320×240) 2.2in landscape LCD, the SV360 offers gamers a great way to play games on a mobile phone. The handset makes use of the OpenGL ES 1.0 mobile gaming API, making the device easy to develop for.
