Atari UK has announced that it will distribute the forthcoming Mercury Games published Paint by DS.
With Paint by DS your Nintendo DS becomes a canvas, enabling players to use the stylus and touch screen to re-create some of the art-world’s most timeless classics like Hokusai’s “The Waves” or Cezannes “Le Golfe de Marseille”.
In addition to re-creating paintings using watercolour, oil paints and pencils, players will be able to unlock more tools, canvases and frames by completing a selection of mini-games.
A total of 15 classic pieces of art are available to reproduce, with each finished work saved to a gallery for future viewing.
Paint by DS is scheduled for release on Nintendo DS across the UK in October.
