Assassin’s Creed: Origins takes place in Egypt and the protagonist is named Bayek, but you already knew that. At Microsoft’s E3 media briefing we got confirmation, though.
We did however get our first look at some in-game 4k footage captured on Xbox One X. In the gameplay we saw Ba Yek riding a horse, which is pretty standard, but there’s also a new UI when Yek picked up a weapon that looks quite Destiny-like. You can also use your eagle to spot those hard-to-see places.
A levelling system was also confirmed in the demo, as was a weird part where Ba Yek could shoot an arrow and guide it after it left his bow.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins is out October 27.
