Assassin's Creed Odyssey will feature extensive post-launch support, including two story-based missions and a remastered version of 2012's critically polarizing Assassin's Creed III and Liberation.

All of this will be flogged as part of the game's Season Pass, which features the story arcs Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis, launching in December 2018 and Spring 2019, respectively. Each story arc will be split into three episodes.

Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed III Remastered arrives in March next year and includes the Benedict Arnold, Hidden Secrets, and Tyranny of King George DLCs, plus Assassin's Creed Liberation.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered will also be sold as a standalone title, and comes equipped with spruced up 4K visuals for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, plus improved 'gameplay mechanics and ergonomics.'

In addition to the paid content, Ubisoft has confirmed that Odyssey players can snap up free goodies in the shape of new quests and in-game events.

These will be available following the game's launch and include The Lost Tales of Greece, the Discovery Tour, a New Game Plus mode, mythical creatures to battle against, and daily/weekly contracts.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is due for release on October 5 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The Season Pass comes with the various special editions of the game, and will also be sold separately.
