Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will offer its players the final free DLC episode, Sokrates’ Trial, as well as the Discovery Tour and a new character pack in its September update.

Sokrates’ Trial will be available once Sokrates’ questline has been completed in the main game. The philosopher has been arrested by the priests in the Acropolis, and it’s down to Alexios or Kassandra to free him and uncover the conspiracy behind his captivity. Ubisoft gave away the  first episode of the game’s second DLC pack, the Fields of Elysium, for free a few weeks ago, and it’s continuing its charitable spirit.

The Discovery Tour will return, only this time it’s taking you gallivanting across ancient Greece. Historians were consulted and wrote the 30 tours that encompass famous Greek cities, everyday life, and ancient conflicts, to name a few. The guide will quiz you on what you’ve learned, so be sure to pay attention and stop to smell the flowers for full marks.

And finally, the Myrmidon character pack will appear in the store and at the Oikos of the Olympians. It’s inspired by the myth of the Trojan War, and is appropriately spiky, ornate, and dramatic. It includes a gear set, a legendary spear, and a new set of threads for Phobos. I personally enjoy rambling around the Greek islands with my unicorn, trailing rainbows as I go. But perhaps I could be persuaded to take the Myrmidon steed for a wander to strike fear instead of curiosity in the hearts of my enemies.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and will be another launch title on Google Stadia. Watch the September update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey below.
