Ubisoft has seemingly confirmed (via Nintendo Life) that a Nintendo Switch version of Assassin's Creed III Remastered is in the pipeline.

Most people were expecting a Switch version to turn up after it was leaked on a retailer not too long ago. However, Ubisoft failed to mention it when dating the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One versions of the game last week.

However, Ubisoft's own Club website has since revealed Assassin's Creed III Remastered is on its way to Ninty's hybrid platform, alongside the other versions of the game.

There's been no formal statement from Ubisoft on the matter just yet, although presumably we won't have to wait long for that.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is due out for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 29, and is also included in the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
