Ubisoft has confirmed that the remastered version of Assassin's Creed III will launch for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 29.

As previously confirmed, the American Revolution-set adventurer will be available to anyone who has the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass, but you can also pick it up separately at retail on the same date.

In addition to featuring the base version of Assassin's Creed III and all DLC, the remaster also throws in the high-definition re-release of Assassin's Creed Liberation. You might have already played this game when it came out on last-gen consoles around five years ago.

While Connor's red coat-killing opus was met with a polarizing reception at launch, it looks like Ubisoft has really gone to town in upgrading the visuals. Check out a comparison trailer below to see for yourself.
