Ubisoft has announced that its critically acclaimed action title Assassin’s Creed II has now sold almost nine million units to retailers worldwide, calling the title an “exceptional” performer.
Ubisoft’s fortunes weren’t only reliant on Ezio. Ubisoft reiterated that Wii phenomenon Just Dance is nearing three million units shipped, while Red Steel 2’s “performance was in line” with recent forecasts and sales of Avatar the game “outstripped” the most recent forecasts.
Good news then that Ubisoft has a new Assassin’s Creed title out later this year and a follow-up to Just Dance in the works.
