Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will “look so much better on PS4”, Ubisoft has declared in a new developer video interview on the PlayStation Blog.

“The first thing which is going to change drastically is the graphics because we think that visually – with the stronger GPU, stronger CPU, a lot of RAM – we are going to be able to exploit this console and push the bar visually,” said associate producer Sylvain Trottier.

He added: “It’s a lot more intuitive for engineers, it has a lot more compute shaders that we add and put them on the PS4 . And all these new techs that we are pushing are natively fitting in the PS4.

“All the little details that you cannot right now put on the current generation consoles because the console is running at 100 per cent right now, so you cannot add all these little details that are going to make the game even more beautiful, more immersive.”

Trottier concluded that Assassin’s Creed 4 will “look so much better on PS4”.

Assassin’s Creed 4 will be released November 1 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. A PS4 version will arrive at launch.
