Assassin’s Creed 4 Freedom Cry, the new single-player content, will be available for download on December 17 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, and on December 18 on PS3 and PS4, Ubisoft has announced.

Freedom Cry features a new self-contained nine mission story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate, Adewale, who is forced to face his past and sets out to free slaves. The story is set 15 years after the end of Black Flag in 18th century Haiti.

The new content can be purchased on its own, but it also included in the Assassin’s Creed 4 Season Pass, which also offers the Kraken Ship Pack, additional single-player missions, weapons, skins, and collectibles.
