A game save corruption bug found in Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation is to be fixed with a new game update coming soon, Ubisoft has told Joystiq.
The bug has been widely reported since the game launched at the end of October.
“Our team is in the process of finalizing the first patch for Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation,” explained a Ubisoft statement given to Joystiq. “This will address the save game corruption issue that you asked about. We’ll have a better idea on the timing of the patch soon.”
The save game corruption leaves players trapped in a Animus loading screen.
