Assassin’s Creed III will release on PC on November 23, Ubisoft has announced.

The November date pins the PC release three and a half weeks behind the 360/PS3 versions, which launch in the UK on October 31.

The Wii U version will also launch alongside the console later this year, Ubisoft confirmed.

Assassin’s Creed III is set during the American Revolution and follows the tale of Connor, a new assassin who becomes “the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars”.

If you live near a GAME or Gamestation store, you could still have the chance to check out a live demo of the game in action.

The Assassin’s Creed III demo tour, which offers players an exclusive early look at the game, runs until the end of the month. For more details on how you can get involved, head here.
