Ashes Cricket 2013 will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U on June 21, 2013, 505 Games has announced.

The upcoming cricket game should put players in the mood for this summer’s Test series, which starts at Trent Bridge almost three weeks later on July 10.

Currently in development at Trickstar Games, the Melbourne-based studio behind International Cricket 2010 and last year’s dogfighter Damage Inc., Ashes Cricket 2013 promises to deliver “the most authentic cricket experience to date”, and includes “exclusive licenses” from both The England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Australia.

However, we’ve yet to see anything of it, and the first trailer and screenshots of the game still seem to be a while off.

“We have trailers and screens on their way over the next few months,” promised the game’s Twitter, “stay tuned”.
