The new Arms update version 2.0 heralds some big changes to the popular Nintendo Switch title. In the most comprehensive update to the game since launch, Max Brass, one of the boss characters from the Grand Prix mode, is now playable, alongside a new mode called Hedlok Scramble. There are also three new Arms for you to equip, and a bunch of fixes and gameplay tweaks.
Hedlock Scramble is a new versus mode based on the boss Hedlok. It sees players fighting whilst also trying to hit a moving capsule containing the Hedlok mask, which allows them to actually be Hedlok for a short period of time. As you can imagine, this gives them a bit of an advantage for the rest of the fight… Hedlok Scramble can be selected in Versus, Friend, Local and Party Match modes.Â
Stats and Events have now been added to the Top Menu, allowing you to check your game statistics, and also giving you the option of choosing whether you want to join official online events. Or not.
There are numerous little tweaks and adjustments to the game to fine-tune and improve the gameplay experience for the user. You can read the full changelog on the NintendoVS Twitter.
