Armored Core 5 will hit Europe in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Namco Bandai Europe has announced.
The mech action game in development at FromSoftware apparently “revolutionises the series with more content than the previous games, a completely new atmosphere, and a robust offline mode”.
Armored Core V is also said to have a newly designed online mode, focusing on huge team-based battles, and smaller mechs than seen in previous entries in the series.
Armored Core isn’t really a known franchise in Europe, so Namco Bandai has a struggle on its hands if it wants the next entry in the series to be a success on these shores.
