The military sandbox world of ARMA 3 is about to get a little more alien, as developer Bohemia Interactive has announced a sci-fi focused spin-off expansion named Contact.

The expansion features a new singleplayer campaign where you play as Specialist Aiden Rudwell, who's sent out on a reconnaissance mission after a huge alien vessel interrupts a military training exercise on Livonia.

There's new gear and new weapons promised, new multiplayer scenarios and also a bunch of 'free bonus content' including camo, civillian clothing and more than 100 decorative props. It'll require the base ARMA 3 game to play, and will be available for PC via Steam and the Bohemia store on July 25.
