First-person dino-survival game Ark: Survival Evolved is scheduled for an “imminent release” on Xbox One, developer Wildcard has revealed.

The game is expected to launch on the console as part of the Xbox One Game Preview Program, before releasing in full on PS4 and Xbox One next summer.

The game was previously reported to be arriving in Preview this winter, although an exact release date has yet to be confirmed.

Ark: Survival Evolved sees players stepping into the role of a hunter stranded on a mysterious island, and who must hunt and harvest food to survive, while taming and riding dinosaurs that roam the land. The game first launched on PC early access in June, selling more than one million copies during its first month on sale.
