Apple Arcade, the new game subscription service from Apple Inc, will launch on September 19 and brings with it over 100 compatible games to play on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

In its special presentation event today, Apple showed off three of the games coming to its Arcade: Frogger in Toy Town, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Shinsekai: Into the Depths. Frogger in Toy Town is of course a modern entry to Konami’s classic series, Sayonara Wild Hearts is a neon dream with a rhythmic twist, and Capcom’s Shinsekai: Into the Depths is underwater platformer. Its music and sound effects were also recorded underwater, which is pretty cool.

Other titles coming to Apple Arcade are Sonic Racing, Little Orpheus, Overland, LEGO Brawls, and Beyond a Steel Sky, to name just a handful of what Apple are offering future subscribers. These will be joined by new games released on a monthly schedule, and Apple assured that the collection are exclusive to its platforms and will be ad-free and in-app-purchase-free.

It announced that an Arcade subscription will be priced at $4.99 — or about £4 — a month, and allow up to six users to access the library using one account. There will also be a free one month trial for those who want to try out the new service before committing.
