Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will launch for iOS devices via the Apple App Store on December 1, followed a week later on Google Play for Android on December 8, Capcom has announced.

Taking on the role of Apollo Justice, players will visit crime scenes, question key witnesses and collect vital evidence before entering the courtroom to prove their clients’ innocence.

Going up against Apollo will be the flamboyant prosecutor Klavier Gavin, who also happens to be the lead singer for rock band the Gavinners.

Players of the smartphone and tablet versions of the game can expect an optimised UI and graphics which promise to take advantage of the higher resolutions available on modern devices.

The smartphone game will also offer full English and Japanese language support.
