Vince Zampella has revealed that battle royale title Apex Legends has reached 50 million players worldwide.

At this point it seems that nothing can derail the free-to-play shooter, which launched one month ago and became an immediate hit. It notched up 10 million players in just 72 hours, and later passed the 25 million player milestone in one week. One of its fans is also a grandad who can no-scope people like a pro, which is just awesome.

Interestingly, Apex Legends actually leaked last year, but no one believed it.
