'I really hope this doesn't happen,' said ThaiMylace. 'They better not add battle royale in the next game,' added Ill_Blitz_lII. And CJMO1, well, all they had to say was 'ITS NOT REAL.' On March 20, 2018, Reddit user hiticonic posted an image of the minimap for a, as they put it, 'rumoured Titanfall battle royale game.' It turns out it was the Apex Legends map, and not a single one of you noticed.

As spotted by PC Gamer, someone on the Titanfall subreddit reposted the image, and this time it's garnered a much larger response. Funny, that. The initial thread contains 14 comments, whilst the repost has around 1600. ApeLegs' popular, dontcha know.

The person who originally brought this to light, hiticonic, popped into the thread and said, 'I'll take my upvotes now,' and put a lovely little tongue out cheeky emoticon thingy at the end. Awww. Isn't that nice?

Respawn community manager Jay Frechette said, 'Haha I remember this! It was a relief to see folks blow it off and I was thinking, "well, he'll be able to say I was right when next year comes along."'
