Anthem was out in full force this evening during EA Play, with the upcoming Destiny-esque action-RPG receiving a brand new cinematic trailer for you to gawk at.

It's, well, sort of what you'd expect from Anthem. Lots of blokes running around in giant spacesuits (known here as Javelins), jaw-dropping vistas, and massive, hulking baddies to shoot with overpowered futuristic weapons.

Sounds a bit like Destiny, innit? Still, don't let that put you off; this latest footage has convinced us that Anthem will bring something totally unique to the table when it arrives early next year.

In addition to the trailer, BioWare has also revealed that pre-orders for Anthem will bag players access to a VIP demo and a unique in-game Founders banner. The Standard Edition of the game also coughs up a 'legendary weapon' and the Legion of Dawn Armour Pack for the Ranger Javelin.

In case you weren't aware, Anthem has four Javelins available: Ranger, Colossus, Storm, and Interceptor.

There's also a Legion of Dawn Edition of Anthem available to snap up (presumably a lot more expensive too, though we haven't got any pricing details at the time of writing) that features all Legion of Dawn Armour Packs, a Ranger Javelin gear attachment, as well as the game's soundtrack.

Anthem is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on February 22, 2019.
