Developer BioWare debuted a freshly-baked Anthem trailer at last night's The Game Awards 2018, this time shining the spotlight on its narrative.

Anthem is an ambitious project for the Mass Effect creator, and on the surface has a lot in common with Destiny. It's a shared-world universe, after all, and is heavy on the multiplayer side of things and grinding for loot.Nope

Nonetheless, it'll still feature BioWare staples such storytelling and an emphasis on player choice, something which people would expect from the developers behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Anthem is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on February 22, 2019. The game's Closed Alpha is due to kick off tomorrow, and BioWare is planning free post-launch story DLC for the shooter down the line.
