Electronic Arts confirmed during a panel at PAX West over the weekend that a demo of Anthem will arrive on February 1, 2019 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

The game's lead producer, Mike Gamble, noted that the teaser is a 'slice of our game' and not a beta designed to garner feedback on the upcoming sci-fi shooter.

Anthem is scheduled for release on February 22, 2019, so the demo will be dropping just a few weeks before launch day.

BioWare has confirmed that the game will not feature romance options, and places a large emphasis on cooperative gameplay. There is the option to play solo if you want, though you won't be accompanied by AI bots if you do go it alone.

If you haven't really seen much of Anthem yet, then be sure to have a butcher's at this lengthy gameplay trailer.
