The animals are running wild at the top of this week’s chart with Madagascar moving up five places to the top spot. After a series of strong weeks the children’s movie tie-in has beaten off war, aliens and possibly the toughest of all, pimped out cars! Fantastic 4 is this week’s highest new entry at No.8 and should continue to sell well while the movie sticks around on the big screen (which by all accounts won’t be that long). Killer 7, the love it or hate it, psycho killer horror game, enters the chart at No.14, which is perhaps a little lower than Capcom wished for the much publicised game.
Lower down in the chart, Conker Live and Reloaded has fallen from No.21 to No.34, obviously looking to make a fast exit from the chart, no doubt disappointing Microsoft.
Next week expect Brian Lara International Cricket to make a strong entrance, with cricket hype at its fullest with the start of the Ashes on Thursday.
