Angry Birds developer Rovio has revealed that it’s to install branded sets of swings and slides to playgrounds across the country. The roll-out, in partnership with Lappset Group, will happen first in Finland, then across the UK.

“Rovio wanted to invite people who play the game to not only sit inside on the sofa, but to go out, move themselves and have fun,” Lappset Group told BBC News.

According to the BBC, the play parks will feature exclusive downloads and large screens for people to play on. Excitingly, there’s also “a tunnel that you have to run though at a certain speed – if you don’t get there in time you get sprayed with water.”

Angry Birds Space is released today on iOS, Android, PC and Mac.
