Angry Birds will soon be given an extra dash of green with the release of the St Patrick’s Day update, developer Rovio has announced.
Hot on the heels of previous themed updates – which have included Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day – the St Patrick’s Day update will be “very green” and feature “more pigs than ever,” Rovio chief Peter Vesterbacka told an audience at the Game Developer’s conference in San Francisco.
There’s no word on an exact release date, but we’re assuming fans won’t have to wait much longer than March 17. Vesterbacka also confirmed that the studio plans to continue dishing out updates, incorporating all the major holidays.
Angry Birds fans also have the movie tie-in, Angry Birds: Rio, to look forward to on March 22.
