Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced a pair of Lair downloads set to go live with the April 17 PS Store refresh.

The first is Skyguard Upgrade, a free download which promises a new analogue stick control scheme, a targeting icon and rumble support for players with the Dual Shock 3. The forced motion controls in Lair were one of the game’s biggest problems so it will be interesting to see if a dual stick method works any better.

Also coming on April 17 is the Diabolical Dragons DLC, giving players access to two new dragons: the Wind Dragon and Poison Dragon. Each will be available to use in all stages. There’s currently mixed reports on whether this DLC will be free and we’re yet to get confirmation either way from Sony.

There’ll also be a couple of new themes available for the PS3.
