Amy, a survival horror game from VectorCell Studios, supervised by Paul Cuisset, the French creator of Flashback, will be released for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PSN on January 11, Lexis Numérique has announced.

The game takes place in December 2034. Global warming has caused widespread disease and an upsurge in natural disasters around the globe. The small town of Silver City (Midwest, USA) is directly affected – mostly by a comet that has crashed into town. When Silver City resident Lana regains consciousness she discovers that people she once knew have been consumed by a mysterious illness, and are now part of a wild, ravenous horde.

The only problem for Lana is that she too has been infected, but she refuses to become one of the horde. Later, an autistic eight-year-old girl, Amy, with strange powers will force Lana to make choices that change both their lives.

Amy will be priced £7.99 on PSN and 800 MS Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
