Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 8, according to a product listing on Amazon.com. The retailer lists versions for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with the November 8 release date matching that seen on an Australian POS poster.
The Tuesday launch could see Modern Warfare 3 hitting stores days before or after EA’s Battlefield 3 which is currently without a firm date in November. Amazon’s UK store lists the graphically impressive DICE FPS for release on November 4.
Late last week details of the Modern Warfare 3 single-player campaign and multiplayer maps were leaked. Four teaser trailers also hit the internet, showing locations and hinting at Makarov’s plot to launch attacks all over the world.
